How it works

As a first step to working together, we’ll begin with an introductory session. This is designed to assess areas of weakness or injury, and to fully understand your goals. You’ll also be introduced to the principles of pilates and learn some of the foundation exercises.

After the first session, most of my clients continue to work with me on a regular weekly schedule to feel the very best results. Our regular sessions will continue to build upon one another: Each week, we’ll explore and address proper bio-mechanics, get you moving safely, and strengthen and condition your body. The exercises are always customized to meet your needs and will challenge you in a supported and gentle way.

Reason for Coming to Pilates

Kelly has been doing Pilates for 10 years. It is a cornerstone in her weekly workout routine.

Course of Action

I have been working with Kelly for over seven years. Kelly is strong and likes to be challenged. She has an active life with a young son. We are using the Pilates work to support her love of running and swimming- focusing on gluts, core and knee tracking to protect her from pain while running- and keeping her strong and supported when she is playing baseball with her son.

Success Story

Every class, I find new ways to challenge her and she kills it every time! Her swimming endurance has gotten better and she doesn’t experience pain when running. She can also play a good amount of baseball without feeling sore the next day!
